In fact the whole Condor experience was excellent, nice ferry, wonderful staff and all like clockwork. We will definitely use your services again if we go back, thank you and all at Condor.

"Hotel was perfect"

"We had a lovely break. Loved the boat crossings they were excellent, and the hotel was perfect. We can’t fault anything, thank you."

"One of our nicest holidays"

"We were really happy with our Condor Break. The crossings were smooth and efficient. The Duke of Richmond Hotel was excellent in all aspects. So, all in all a really good choice of holiday which we will certainly be inclined to repeat in the near future. Going to Guernsey as foot passengers from Poole made a lot of sense. Thank you for your part in making this one of our nicest holidays ever!"

"It was a breeze!"

"Enjoyed a little break to Guernsey to see our friends, can't fault the ferry: it was a breeze!"

Emma's Top Tips for your Guernsey holiday:

Top tips whilst on the Island?

If you need a taxi, I recommend pre booking as far in advance as possible as there are a reliable but small amount serving the Island. If you do travel with your car, although its free to park you still need a parking disc to display the time you arrived, don’t get caught out!

Favourite activities?

Wandering St Saviours Reservoir Millennium Walk is great, and going to Fermain Valley which is one of the best beaches in the Channel Islands. The beach is fantastic for swimming or admiring the bay from the café that sits next to the beach.

Favourite restaurant to visit?

So tough to choose as Guernsey has many of my favourite places. Red Restaurant in St Peter Port was amazing, the best steak I’ve had in the UK!

Best hidden gem of the Island?

Lihou Island, which is walkable on low tide. It’s an amazing little place where you can feel away from everything but only a 20 minute walk away back to the Guernsey coast.
